Assisting Hands Rockford Caregiver Nominated for Prestigious Award
Emily, one of our caregivers at Assisting Hands Rockford, was chosen as the July nominee for the Above the Best, a prestigious companywide award. This national award invites 90 Assisting Hands® offices across the country to submit nominees, with one award recipient named at the end of the year. The Assisting Hands Rockford location is proud of Emily, and extremely honored to have her on our team.

Emily Mega is among the elite caregivers at Assisting Hands Serving Rockford. Her professionalism, work ethic, attention to detail, and compassionate spirit help make an impact on the community. From the beginning, she has demonstrated exceptional initiative as a caregiver by showing up early for shifts to better serve her clients. Emily is phenomenal in her communication with both the family members as well as the agency’s team. With her nursing background, the client’s family is comfortable with Emily, as she is familiar with discharge instructions, prescribed medications, and medical terms. While the family understands all provided care is non-medical, they have peace of mind in Emily’s ability to understand and interpret what is needed to care for their loved one.
