ASSISTING HANDS ROCKFORD SHARES ON ENGAGING WITH THE ROCKFORD COMMUNITY
The main reason we do what we do is that we love helping people through caregiving and outreach, and by engaging with the Rockford community in a variety of ways we are doing just that. We want to make an impact in Rockford and surrounding areas, so one way we do this is by volunteering at various organizations such as Goodwill and Lao American Association of Northern Illinois.
HOSTING BINGO AT GRAND VICTORIA ROCKFORD
Assisting Hands Rockford also volunteers to host BINGO at the beautiful Grand Victorian of Rockford, an assisted living facility. As their special host on July 6, at 1:30-2:30, our goal is to engage with residents, so we will be encouraging them to participate and cheering them on to a BINGO victory. We’ll also be handing out fun prizes, and our team is extra excited to give back this week. Our in-home care team would like to get even more involved with the various senior communities, so if your facility or organization would like us to help out just give us a call at (815) 884-CARE. Also, we plan to continue engaging with the Rockford community, so if your facility or organization has clients that need a little extra help at home please reach out. Assisting Hands® Rockford can provide assistance in the privacy of their own home for you or a loved one. Our caregivers have training and experience in providing in-home care. After passing extensive background checks, each caregiver becomes insured, bonded, and trained in CPR and First Aid. Assisting Hands® Rockford will help you select the best matched caregiver from its pre-screened group of available assistants. We can have qualified help placed in your home within 48 hours of the initial call, so we invite you to call today.
Additionally, our care qualifies under the Veterans Administration benefit, the Pension with Aid & Attendance (va.gov). This benefit assists those that qualify with up to $25,525 annually. It is to be used to assist in keeping them independent at home. View link below for more information.
