Assisting Hands® Rockford not only in home care for veterans, but also focuses on supporting our aging veterans with valuable resources and home care services.
Homemaker Services
As our veterans reach their advanced years, they may require extra assistance to get the most out of life. Assisting Hands® Rockford is here to help those who have served our country with all their home care needs. Our services are designed specifically for aging veterans in order to ensure that they can continue to live comfortably and independently in their own homes.
Our home care services for veterans include assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. We also offer transportation services to help veterans get to medical appointments or social events. Additionally, our caregivers provide companionship and emotional support as well as access to resources like housing referrals and financial assistance.
We understand that each veteran has unique needs, so we strive to provide personalized care tailored to their individual situation. Our caregivers will work with veterans and family members in order to create a care plan that meets everyone’s needs and goals. We also offer respite care for family members who need a break from providing caregiving duties.
If your Veteran needs help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, feeding, dressing, toileting (just to name a few) or respite care for the primary caregiver we can help. Assisting Hands Rockford is a VA approved provider. Give us a call at 815-884-CARE to see how we can help. Also, see attached for a complete list of ADLs. At Assisting Hands Rockford, it is our mission to help aging veterans live the life they deserve. We are proud to provide compassionate and quality care for our local veteran community.
