{"id":1754,"date":"2022-07-05T14:57:20","date_gmt":"2022-07-05T14:57:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/100\/?p=1754"},"modified":"2022-07-05T15:20:26","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T15:20:26","slug":"engaging-with-the-rockford-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/100\/illinois\/rockford\/blog\/engaging-with-the-rockford-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Engaging with the Rockford Community"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><strong>ASSISTING HANDS ROCKFORD SHARES ON ENGAGING WITH THE ROCKFORD COMMUNITY<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The main reason we do what we do is that we love helping people through caregiving and outreach, and by engaging with the Rockford community in a variety of ways we are doing just that.\u00a0 We want to make an impact in Rockford and surrounding areas, so one way we do this is by volunteering at various organizations such as <a href=\"https:\/\/goodwillni.org\/\">Goodwill<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LAONIllinois\">Lao American Association of Northern Illinois<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>HOSTING BINGO AT GRAND VICTORIA ROCKFORD<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Assisting Hands Rockford also volunteers to host BINGO at the beautiful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.assistedlivingcenter.com\/facilities\/il\/rockford\/grand-victorian-of-rockford-independent-assisted-living-61114\/?utm_source=bing&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=us_il_rockford&amp;utm_content=78615275162740&amp;utm_term=senior%20care%20rockford\">Grand Victorian of Rockford<\/a>, an assisted living facility. As their special host on July 6, at 1:30-2:30, our goal is to engage with residents, so we will be encouraging them to participate and cheering them on to a BINGO victory. We&#8217;ll also be handing out fun prizes, and our team is extra excited to give back this week. Our in-home care team would like to get even more involved with the various senior communities, so if your facility or organization would like us to help out just give us a call at (815) 884-CARE. We\u2019d be happy to discover more fun ways to engage with our community.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>HOW CAN WE HELP YOUR ORGANIZATION?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Also, we plan to continue engaging with the Rockford community, so if your facility or organization has clients that need a little extra help at home please reach out.\u00a0 Our in-home care (which can also be in a facility) is one-on-one care and perfect for seniors and veterans.
