Assisting Hands Mansfield proudly participated in the Unite Ellis Battlefield: Home event, a three-day initiative held May 6–8 to support veterans, service members, first responders, and their families in Ellis County. Hosted at The Texas Theater and Waxahachie Bible Church, the event featured a documentary screening, collaborative sessions between service providers, and a resource fair with over 40 organizations—including the Dallas VA and Texas Veterans Commission. With 127 individuals and families served, the event provided vital connections to care and resources. Proceeds supported the Ellis County Veterans Treatment Court, helping fund rehabilitation and recovery for local veterans.
