Those who are eligible must first be evaluated by a panel for geriatric extended care (GEC) composed of a registered nurse (RN), a social worker (SW), and a medical doctor (MD). They must also meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Need help with at least three ADLs<\/li>\n<li>Experience significant cognitive impairment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Veteran Respite Care in Burleson, TX<\/h2>\n<p>For veterans and spouses receiving care from a family member, we are able to provide veteran respite care services that are covered by VA benefits. With our VA respite care services, a household caregiver can take some time off while our caregivers take over providing care.
