The caregiver who comes to your door is our employee, covered by our insurance, supervised by our office, and backed up by our team when life happens.<\/p>\n<h2>How We Screen Every Caregiver<\/h2>\n<p>Florida holds home care agencies to a higher screening standard than most states, and screening is complete before a caregiver is ever assigned to a client.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse:<\/strong> This is fingerprint-based and runs through both state and federal criminal databases under the oversight of the <a href=\"https:\/\/info.flclearinghouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Agency for Health Care Administration<\/a> (AHCA). It is not a basic county records search or an online instant check. Screening must remain active for the caregiver to stay employed with us.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minimum one year of healthcare experience: <\/strong>We do not hire caregivers with no care background and train them on your loved one. Every caregiver we place has already worked in the field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Credential verification:<\/strong> CNA licenses and HHA certifications are verified against Florida state records before assignment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-person interview with our office team:<\/strong> Screening tells us who is eligible.
