Funds are available to Veterans and surviving spouses of <\/strong><\/em><em><strong>Veterans to assist them with paying for a caregiver to come to their home.<\/strong><\/em><\/h6>\n<p><strong>INTRODUCTION<\/strong><br \/>\nMillions of America\u2019s senior citizens are veterans or surviving spouses of veterans. As these heroes age, home is where they want to spend their senior years\u2014surrounded by their favorite people and familiar<br \/>\nthings.<\/p>\n<p>A little-known Veterans Administration benefit called <em><strong>Aid and Attendance<\/strong><\/em>, can help to fund this care. This benefit assists those that qualify with up to $43,788 annually to be used to assist in keeping them independent at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications for the Pension with Aid &amp; Attendance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Pension with Aid &amp; Attendance is available to veterans and surviving spouses of veterans who meet certain criteria.<\/p>\n<p>\uf0fc It is not necessary for the veteran to have served in a field of battle or overseas.<br \/>\n\uf0fc The veteran must have been honorably discharged.<\/div> <\/div> <div class=\"wpb_text_column  vc_custom_1594068106733\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/117\/tennessee\/chattanooga\/va-aid-and-attendance-application-checklist\/\"><strong>SERVICE REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/a><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Wartime Service (or widow of wartime Veteran)<\/li>\n<li>Served at least 90 days of actual ACTIVE DUTY<\/li>\n<li>Served at least one day during a war period<\/li>\n<li>Honorable discharge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div> <\/div> <div class=\"wpb_text_column \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>CALL US TODAY if you feel that you meet these service requirements.
