Assisting Hands Home Care Launches New On-Demand Home Care Program for Middle Tennessee Families
FRANKLIN, Tenn., March 12, 2026 — Assisting Hands Home Care has introduced a new On-Demand Home Care service, giving families access to professional in-home support when they need it, without requiring a recurring weekly schedule.
The service was created for families who may not need ongoing care but still want a trusted team they can call when support is needed. Whether it is help getting to a doctor’s appointment, coverage while a family caregiver travels, support after a medical procedure, or simply an extra set of hands during a busy week, the On-Demand option allows families to request care as needs arise.
“Families often tell us they wish there was someone they could call when something unexpected comes up,” said Mandy Jerin, owner of Assisting Hands Home Care. “On-Demand care gives them that flexibility while still working with a trusted local care team.”
Caregivers assist with everyday needs such as mobility support, fall prevention, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, companionship, personal care, and overnight supervision when needed.
Unlike many home care providers that rely on call centers or contract labor, Assisting Hands operates with locally managed teams and W-2 employed caregivers who are trained, insured, and supported by the Franklin-based leadership team.
“When families call us, they reach someone here in the community who understands what they are going through,” Jerin said. “Care works best when it is personal and responsive.”
The new On-Demand service complements several specialized programs the organization offers to help families navigate different stages of care.
The Safe Transition Home program supports individuals returning home after hospital or rehabilitation stays.
Through CarePath Long-Term Care Insurance Navigation, co-owner Chris Jerin helps families review policies, file claims, and manage reimbursements so they can access the long-term care benefits they have paid for.
