&#8220;oh, so you&#8217;ll watch my house when I&#8217;m on vacation?&#8221;.\u00a0 No, that&#8217;s not us, but we can refer you to someone to watch over your house if that&#8217;s what you&#8217;re looking for!<\/p>\n<p>In Home care is providing care for someone in the comfort of their own home.\u00a0 Home care helps individuals to maintain their independence, even if they have slowed down a little bit, by allowing them to <a href=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/14\/florida\/fortmyers\/services\/senior-in-home-care\/\">age in place<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" \/><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Personal Care<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We provide <a href=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/14\/florida\/fortmyers\/services\/personal-care-companion-services\/\">personal care services<\/a>\u00a0at home including bathing, dressing, toileting and hygiene assistance.\u00a0 This could be a stand by shower assist where our aide is waiting on the other side of the door in the event that the client requires assistance, a full shower, or a bed baths for clients that are bedbound.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Homemaking<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We can provide <a href=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/14\/florida\/fortmyers\/services\/homemaking\/\">homemaking services<\/a> for clients that may be struggling to keep up with some of these things themselves.\u00a0 We can help run errands, transportation to appointments, prepare meals, help with laundry including changing the sheets, and perform light (surface) housekeeping.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Companionship<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We can also provide <a href=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/14\/florida\/fortmyers\/services\/companionship\/\">companionship services<\/a> to those that are lonely.\u00a0 During the height of the pandemic, many nursing homes were not non-medical personnel into their facilities.\u00a0 In some cases, families opted to hire home care agencies to send in to visit with their loved ones. \u00a0Children who live far from their aging parents also take great comfort in knowing there is someone to see their parent on a regular basis, knowing they will be informed if there is a change in their loved one&#8217;s condition.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Duration<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Many clients we have had for a number of years, but we also see a number of clients for a period of a few weeks, sometimes after recovering from an illness or surgery until they are able to get back on their feet.\u00a0 Whether you are needing help long
