The Borough of Beachwood has organized a volunteer first aid squad. It was formed as the Beachwood First Aid Squad in 1942. Its mission is to serve the emergency medical needs of Beachwood and Pine Beach areas. The squad responds to the approximately 3.47 sq miles of its jurisdiction, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It consists of volunteers who devote countless hours of their time to the community. Between responding to numerous emergency calls, they are constantly training to acquire the skills necessary to provide superior service and high level of care that the township has come to expect.
Beachwood offers an award winning wellness campaign to its residents with weekly yoga and zumba programs to show its commitment and dedication to the promotion of active and healthy living within the community.

Health Ease/Move Today
Beachwood Community Center on Wednesday’s from 10-11 a.m.
Health Ease/Move Today is a one hour non-aerobic exercise class for seniors designed to improve flexibility, balance, and stamina. Participants assess their health, physical well-being and intent to make behavior changes before and upon completion of the program. The exercises and guidelines are based on current nationally recognized standards and science. The program is sponosred by the Ocean County Office of Senior Services. RIVERFRONT MARINA RENTAL INFORMATION
For those seniors that own boats, you can rent space in the Beachwood riverfront marina. Call Borough Hall 732-286-6000 ext. 200 for rental fees and information. Residents are given priority. However, they do maintain a residents waiting list and a non-residents waiting list. They will reach out to non residents when the residents waiting list exhausted.
There is running water available at the marina. Launching ramp is restricted to resident use only. Not looking for a slip – but a great place to launch your boat – Contact Borough Hall for information.
MAYO PARK RENTAL
