I\u2019m pretty sure only a wedding can top the excitement and warmth that was felt at 1020 S. A few snacks, drinks, lots of flowers, and one yellow ribbon later, and we are up and (officially running). Jim from The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce along with Mayor Tim Hayes performed the ribbon tying ceremony, which is meant to symbolically TIE new businesses to the city rather than cut the ribbon for a new business. My sister happened to walk in during the middle and later commented that it felt like she had just walked into a movie set. Boy, was she right.
