Save the date! Assisting Hands<\/a> is already gearing up to participate in the Northwest Suburban Walk to End Alzheimer\u2019s on Saturday, September 22nd<\/sup>! It will be at Busse Woods, Groves 28-30, in Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. You can enter via the west entrance on Golf Rd. Registration begins at 8 am, there is a ceremony at 9:30 am and the walk begins at 10am.<\/p>\n

Come help us and our community support The Alzheimer\u2019s Association\u2019s nationwide efforts to spread awareness and fund research and support for individuals and families living with the disease. We will be walking alongside other local sponsors Transitions Hospice, Brookdale Senior Living, A Place For Mom, Belmont Village, and many more.<\/p>\n

All of the money raised benefits the goals of The Alzheimer\u2019s Association: providing information and support to individual families impacted by Alzheimer\u2019s, funding research for finding a cure, as well as funding research for prevention and management along the way, and finally, fighting for the legal rights of people affected by Alzheimer\u2019s.<\/p>\n
