Samantha is a sweet and genuine soul who has inspired us into rhyme with her giving spirit. We are bursting with joy and holiday cheer<\/em> Samantha is everything a caregiver should be.<\/em> Samantha exemplifies all the important qualities of our team,<\/em> And while we could brag about Samantha all day,<\/em> After I experienced a setback in nursing school, I had trouble finding the motivation to continue in my healthcare career. I decided to get a job at Assisting Hands as a CNA to take care of clients while I found the drive for healthcare again. Being a caregiver has not only given me the motivation back, but it gave me a new appreciation for caring for the elderly and taking care of others.<\/p>\n I would tell new caregivers at Assisting Hands that the three most important things to remember are patience, dignity, and respect. These qualities will guide you in caring for any client and allow you to more easily gain their trust and respect. I would also let them know that the management at Assisting Hands is very understanding and you do not need to be afraid to voice your concerns if you have any.<\/p>\n I love to work with my clients at Assisting Hands because they are so kind. Since the pandemic, their visitations with their families have been extremely limited so they are open to conversations. I always look forward to going back to a client\u2019s house so we can continue our projects and conversations. Every client I have worked with have been a pleasure to work with and a unique experience every time, they make the job feel enjoyable.<\/p>\n In my free time I like to crochet stuffed animals, watch movies, and tend to my houseplants.<\/p>\n Samantha Gomez is my father’s aide. I wanted to send this note to let you know how much my Dad and our family appreciates the joy that Samantha brings to our Dad’s day. He speaks a lot of her and enjoys the time they spend together and laughs that they share.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n On my Dad’s 91st birthday, Samantha surprised him with a cake, hat, and birthday celebration. It made his day! He could not stop talking about it and was so appreciative and pleasantly surprised by the celebration. They took photos and sent it to all of us and it was so nice to see how happy he was in the photos.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n She was also so essential to his wellbeing especially during the time when our family couldn’t go inside his apartment after he first moved in.\u00a0 She helped him with unpacking and getting the apartment all sorted out and organized.<\/em><\/p>\n Thank you to Samantha for all she does for our Dad.
