Are you a Certified Nursing assistant looking for a job, APPLY today!<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/ahcentralmilwaukee.engyj.com\/recruitment\/?utm_source=https:\/\/corporatewebsite.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Apply Online Today<\/a><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 align=\"CENTER\">Caregiver<\/h2>\n<p><b>Description: <\/b>This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator in compliance with the Plan of Care.<\/p>\n<p><b>Education: <\/b>High School Diploma\/GED required<\/p>\n<p><b>Qualifications: <\/b>One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.<\/p>\n<p><b>Reports to:<\/b> Staffing Coordinator<\/p>\n<p><b>Primary Duties:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within client\u2019s residence. Duties may include light cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping and living areas, washing client\u2019s dishes or laundry, and other tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the client.<\/li>\n<li>The performance of all personal care activities contained in a written Plan of Care which may include assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Providing nutritional support as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting changes in the client\u2019s condition.<\/li>\n<li>Other activities that are determined necessary and trained on for a specific client and are restricted to the following:<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with the use of devices for aid to daily living such as a wheelchair, walker, or hoyer lift;<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with range of motion exercises;<\/li>\n<li>Teaching household routine and skills to well members of the family;<\/li>\n<li>Measuring intake and output of fluids;<\/li>\n<li>Reporting temperature, pulse, respiration or blood pressure;<\/li>\n<li>Keeping records of personal health care activities;<\/li>\n<li>Observing appearance and gross behavioral changes in the client and reporting to the agency supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Reminder for medications<\/li>\n<li>Updating the progress notes<\/li>\n<li>May be required to accompany residents to appointments and outings<\/li>\n<li>Abides by the agency\u2019s infection control policies, including proper hand washing techniques consistent with CDC Guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Abides by all policies and procedures outlined in the agency\u2019s Policy and Procedure Manual, Caregiver Handbook, and Caregiver Training Manual.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Hours:<\/b> Dependent on assignment; Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability.
