Classes<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Complete certification training in 3 weeks!<\/p>\n\n\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/29\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/132\/2022\/10\/Notes-from-the-Nurse-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/29\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/132\/2022\/10\/Notes-from-the-Nurse-1-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Earn your NJ certification to be a professional NJ CHHA and make a difference for so many! Professional caregivers are superheroes in disguise, using their gifts of compassion and skill help them stay safe and healthy at home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our cost-effective, small group classes are held at our convenient location in Sea Girt with lots of one-on-one time with the instructor to ensure the highest level of skill mastery. The clinicals are done on-site.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Requirements of the class are:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>76 Hours of comprehensive training including 60 hours of educational training and 16 hours of hands-on clinical instruction.<\/li>\n<li>Must be at least 18 years of age<\/li>\n<li>Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Mandatory attendance for the full required time at all sessions<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with certification application after successful passage of state competency exam<\/li>\n<li>Pass criminal background check<\/li>\n<li>Employment or Promise of Employment by an Accredited Home Care Agency<\/li>\n<li>Book and workbook provided (refundable $50 deposit required)<\/li>\n<li>Two forms of Identification<\/li>\n<li>One 2 X 2 size Color Passport photo-actual (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart)<\/li>\n<li>Birth Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Marriage Certificate (if your last name has changed)<\/li>\n<li>Must have medicals complete for the first day of class:\n<ul>\n<li>2-Step PPD\/Quantiferon\/Chest X-ray<\/li>\n<li>MMRs<\/li>\n<li>Physical within last 12 months<\/li>\n<li>COVID vaccine card that shows completion of two shots plus at least one booster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>2024 Class Dates (classes held Monday-Thursday)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>February 5-22, 2024<\/li>\n<li>March 4-21, 2024<\/li>\n<li>April 8-25, 2024<\/li>\n<li>May 6-23, 2024<\/li>\n<li>June 3-20, 2024<\/li>\n<li>July-No Classes<\/li>\n<li>August 5-22, 2024<\/li>\n<li>September 9-26, 2024<\/li>\n<li>October 7-24, 2024<\/li>\n<li>November 4-21, 2024\n<ul>\n<li>Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays-9 a.m. to 5 p.m.<br \/>\nThursdays-9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.<br \/>\nExam day will be Wednesday, Nov. 21 starting at 9 a.m. The day usually ends at noon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>December 2-19, 2024<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/29\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/132\/2023\/01\/587-4879-e1672870938667.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assistinghands.com\/29\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/132\/2023\/01\/587-4879-e1672870938667-259x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>CNA BRIDGE TO CHHA<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>CNA&#8217;s are welcome to join the 10-hour bridge class to get a CHHA certification.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CNA to HHA Bridge Course that is 10 hours of instruction plus two hours of clinical training in our facility.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You must have an active and in good standing NJ CNA license to take the bridge course.
