Quality Home Care You Can Trust In Chevy Chase MD and Surrounding Areas

Private In Home Care For Families In Chevy Chase

Frontyard of House with Water Fountain

At Assisting Hands, we understand the need for quality in-home care for your loved ones. We are dedicated to serving Chevy Chase clients with a personal approach, providing concierge-type services tailored to the needs of the individual. Whether the needs are simple, such as companionship and light housekeeping or more complex, as when working with Alzheimer’s and Dementia clients, we carefully match our caregivers to the needs of your loved one. We listen carefully when you call us, so we can match personalities and abilities, providing the best possibility for a successful caregiving relationship.

As is often the case in Chevy Chase, seniors, disabled and post-surgical patients usually want to stay at home when extra care is needed. But just “anyone” won’t work. You need and want someone responsible, caring and capable! Our caregivers are the best in the business and they are ready to answer your need.

Tailored for you. It’s difficult to be the full-time caregiver. Not only is there a good deal of stress to the job, but sometimes you just can’t be there. That’s when we can help. We can be there in the morning to help with daily grooming. We can be there all day to manage the house, answer the door, schedule repairmen, go through the mail and take your loved one to appointments as needed. We can be there one day a week as a respite for the caregiver, or we can be there every morning. You tell us what you need.

People call us for many reasons. We are here to help families in Chevy Chase and the surrounding area. Please give us a call and let’s discuss the situation. We are happy to provide a care plan that can work for you.

How Does Assisting Hands Help Chevy Chase Residents?

Depending on the needs, Assisting Hands can be a temporary lifeline for a family where someone is recovering from surgery. Or we can be a regular relief for a family member who provides daily care for someone in need. Consider the stress relief that comes when someone can take a day off to themselves, or a day for weekly shopping and visiting friends. What is your need? Give us a call. There are many people who use our services, for example:

  • As people age, they may need help getting around or managing a household.
  • People suffering from a Chronic Condition. Often, these people are tired and can use some extra help to help them cope.
  • Disabled individuals. Young or old, our caregivers can be there to help an individual get dressed, visit friends, do errands or go to appointments.
  • Rehab clients. If someone in your family has surgery scheduled, or will be coming home post-surgery, we can help with in-home care. Our help often relieves the stress on family members.
  • Hospice patients. Assisting Hands coordinates with hospice providers, providing support when needed.
  • New and expecting mothers. Sometimes problems arise and an expecting mother might need to be off her feet for a while. Or the burden of caring for others in her family may be too much for a period of time. We can help.
  • Dementia or Alzheimer’s clients. We can relieve family caregivers, allowing them to take a break and deal with other matters. Assisting Hands will provide weekly relief, or daily help – either at night, during the day or for 24 hours.
