I am kind of new to the blog world but am hoping with your help, I can write about things that mean something near and dear to all of us with regards to people we care about. My goal for the blog is to write stories of people that share stories with me and have a “feel good” aspect to them. Also, any concerns or areas besides the “feel good” aspect, I will cover as they come up.<\/p>\n

So please feel free to send me your stories and issues you would like to see covered. Hopefully, this blog will provide a personal aspect to Home Care in San Diego<\/a> that is of interest and beneficial in one way or another.<\/p>\n

I will begin my blog with a story of Fran, whom I love deeply and is like a mother to me. \u00a0Fran was a young lady from France during the first world war.\u00a0Her father was an accomplished pilot who flew his plane under the Arc De Triomphe- this feat was very daring, brave and challenging and many articles have been written about him and what he did. Years later, my friendship with Fran developed and I was reading an article about a town in California by the name of Felicity- which named itself the “center of the world”- it was a curious thing, so I did some research.<\/p>\n

I found the Mayor of the City was a frenchman who had been a pilot and established a city naming it Felicity in honor of his wife. I contacted Jacques Andre-Istel and proceeded to have wonderful email dialog with him. When I realized he built a museum of Aviation History in the town- see photo<\/p>\n

I asked him if he would like a video of the 1919 flight by Charles Godefroy under the Arc de Triomphe- and low and behold, he told me that Monsieur Godefroy held a place of honor in the museum, with his name carved in granite!<\/p>\n

You can imagine the happiness stories like this hold for us, reminding us the world is a small place and that especially, every one of us has a story.<\/p>\n
