Regular daily tasks are those chores that everyone needs to manage in order to keep their household going. You might be noticing things like your senior\u2019s mail piling up or her dishes staying in the sink longer than usual. In and of themselves, these tasks don\u2019t automatically mean that your elderly family member is in an emergency situation or that she can\u2019t continue to age in place. But they do show that your senior could use some extra help.<\/p>\n

Mobility is also a key indicator. If your elderly family member has been able to be mobile on her own for a while, but now is having difficulty, that\u2019s a problem. She may have health issues that need to be addressed or there may be something else going on. If she\u2019s fallen, your senior may not necessarily let you know about that. Unfortunately, one fall increases the likelihood that she will fall again and she can seriously injure herself.<\/p>\n
