Assisting Hands serves seniors, people with special needs and those who require temporary assistance while they recuperate from an injury, hospitalization or surgery. Our senior clients are a diverse group ranging from those who are generally in good health but would like some companionship and help around the house, to those suffering from various chronic illnesses and those on Hospice.
In each of these cases our certified home health aides provide care that helps our clients remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible. We help them with the activities of daily living: bathing, grooming and dressing; food shopping and cooking; medication reminders; transfers, walking and exercise; transportation for errands and appointments; housekeeping; and companionship. We do this in the place of residence—usually a private home, but also in group homes and medical facilities.
We tailor the service to our client’s needs and schedule–from a few hours a week to around the clock. We service all of Wayne.
