The architecture showcases the views of Lady Bird Lake. \u00a0The rooftop garden is a great place to take photos, enjoy the native plants, meet friends, or simply relax with a good book.\u00a0 In addition to the rooftop garden there are several screened porches that allow patrons to easily move from the building to comfortable outdoor settings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1918 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/assistinghands.com\/44\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/69\/2018\/04\/library-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before visiting the library for the first time, forget about old-school notions of a library simply being a repository for stacks and stacks of books organized by the Dewey Decimal System. \u00a0In addition to thousands of books, the library has events spaces for readings, film screenings, concerts and other performances.
