Emmie, here. My husband Louis and I own Assisting Hands West Austin and are involved in the day to day operations along with our team. I wanted to take a moment to brag on the amazing team we have. Not only are they compassionate and caring with their clients, they go above and beyond in all capacities. We could not be more fortunate with the Assisting Hands family we have built here in Austin….<\/p>\n
At Assisting Hands, we pride ourselves on treating our clients and our caregivers like family. We have constant communication with our caregiving team, and this leads us to learn about their personal lives as well as their professional lives. It is easy to become close with such dedicated and compassionate individuals.<\/p>\n
This team of office staff and caregivers surprised Louis and myself the other week with a surprise baby shower. This was on a Sunday evening. Our team members that weren’t actively working with clients or with their own families, showed up to the office, cooked an elaborate (and delicious) feast, and celebrated our upcoming bundle of joy. I can’t express how surprised we were and how appreciative we were of this gesture.<\/p>\n

Love and caring – it goes a long, long way. We hope to continue to foster an environment where our team is truly like a family, and where we come together to celebrate life’s blessings.<\/p>\n
