February is American Heart Month, and here<\/a> are a few great resources from the CDC.<\/p>\n

The sad truth is, heart disease is one the most lethal conditions in the United States, and is responsible for nearly 600,000 deaths each year.<\/p>\n

We here at Assisting Hands Home Health Care in West Austin<\/a> believe\u00a0every\u00a0<\/em>day is a good day to focus on your cardiovascular health, but in American Heart Month, we all take a few moments to think hard about how we can take care of ourselves even better than we normally do.<\/p>\n

This means thinking about hypertension (also known as high blood pressure), cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, and how we can prevent heart attacks and strokes.<\/p>\n
