Veterans need to apply for medical benefits with the Department of Veterans Affairs before they can qualify for our VA care programs.\u00a0 Veterans who are eligible for VA benefits can receive home health care and respite care services with our VA programs.<\/p>\n

VA Home Health Aide (HHA)\/ Home Health Program<\/h2>\n

Veterans can receive up to 12 hours of home health care per week with our VA HHA program.\u00a0 In addition to eligibility for VA benefits, applicants must undergo an assessment for geriatric extended care (GEC) from a social worker (SW), registered nurse (RN), and medical doctor (MD).<\/p>\n
