As a trusted home care agency in Schaumburg, we provide compassionate, professional in-home care that allows seniors and individuals with disabilities to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.<\/p>\n<p>Our mission is simple: <em>to provide exceptional care while giving families peace of mind.<\/em> Every member of our team\u2014from caregivers to leadership\u2014shares a commitment to dignity, respect, and service.<\/p>\n<p>We are now looking for a Community Educator to join our growing team and help us strengthen our community partnerships and expand our impact.<\/p>\n<h2>About the Role<\/h2>\n<p>The Community Educator plays a key role in connecting our agency with the Schaumburg community and surrounding Northwest suburbs. This position is about building relationships &#8211; with healthcare providers, senior living communities, and local organizations &#8211; to increase awareness of Assisting Hands services and help families access the support they need.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re a people person who thrives on making connections, enjoys being out in the community, and has a passion for helping others, this could be the perfect role for you.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain referral relationships with local hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, physician offices, senior centers, and other community partners.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct presentations and community outreach visits to share information about Assisting Hands\u2019 services.<\/li>\n<li>Attend networking events, senior fairs, and local activities to represent our home care agency Schaumburg and promote brand awareness.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the office manager and care team to ensure seamless client intake and onboarding.<\/li>\n<li>Track outreach efforts, referral activity, and outcomes to meet and exceed growth goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What We\u2019re Looking For<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Sales, business development, or community outreach experience (healthcare industry experience a plus but not required).<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently.<\/li>\n<li>A genuine passion for helping seniors and families.<\/li>\n<li>Reliable transportation for local travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Compensation &amp; Benefits<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive base salary plus commission and performance bonuses.<\/li>\n<li>Mileage reimbursement for travel.<\/li>\n<li>Paid training and professional development opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>A supportive, mission-driven team that values your growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Why Join Us?<\/h2>\n<p>When you work with Assisting Hands Home Care Schaumburg, you become part of a team that is making a real difference every day.
