A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), she rose through the ranks of the healthcare industry to become a Senior Executive.<\/p>\n

Throughout her career, Alexis has combined strategic vision with a deep commitment to quality, innovation, multiculturalism, and compassionate leadership. Earlier in her career, she managed a team of clinicians responsible for delivering healthcare services to approximately 1.5 million federal employees across 14 states. She spearheaded clinical quality initiatives that helped reduce medical errors and waste while improving healthcare outcomes. She also oversaw $165 million in IT investments for a Fortune 500 healthcare insurer, leading initiatives that generated significant cost savings and enhanced experiences for both customers and healthcare providers.<\/p>\n

Today, Alexis brings that experience to entrepreneurship and community-based healthcare. She is the owner of Assisting Hands Gulf Coast (AHGC) Home Care, with offices in Tampa, Sarasota and Venice. AHGC provides in-home older adults, senior and veterans care, helping them age safely, independently, and with dignity in their places of residence. Under Alexis\u2019 leadership, the organization has distinguished itself through innovative care and care-management solutions, a strong caregiver workforce, and a commitment to cultural competence.
