Scott Emch
Managing Director

Scott is a seasoned executive who brings nearly 10 years of experience helping seniors remain in their homes. According to Scott, “It is an honor and privilege to help seniors receive the care they need to remain at home as they age.”

Scott grew up in a small town in Northwest Ohio where he was very close to his grandparents. His appreciation and dedication to the senior community grew from sharing their life experiences and watching as they were challenged financially to find the best care and achieve their personal aging goals.

Later in his career, Scott had the opportunity to help seniors age in place. Nine years ago, Scott started the leading Continuing Care at Home program in Central Ohio. This experience gave him valuable insight into seniors’ challenges to remain in their homes, which led him to Assisting Hands Home Care of Columbus, as Managing Director. Scott is eager to help Assisting Hands achieve its goal of helping the elderly community remain in their residence of choice with activities of daily living, complex care needs, and memory support.

Scott has lived in the Columbus area for over 30 years with his wife Kim, where he enjoys the rich history, diversity, and culture the city has to offer. He has two adult children and loves to travel with them. In addition to traveling as a hobby, he is an avid cyclist, and sport shooter. Scott’s family and friends have always been at the center of his life and a rewarding complement to his career.
