Regional Director Kate Race is a dementia care education trainer certified in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach® to Care (PAC). As a teen, Kate supported the family caregivers for her grandfather living with Alzheimer’s, which inspired her to make senior care her career. She now combines her PAC training with years of hands-on experience caring for seniors living with dementia in both home and community settings. Attendees praise the depth of knowledge shared and the opportunity to ask questions.
“Another fantastic presentation last night. There is so much I’m learning that I wish I knew years ago. This knowledge is providing interaction with my mom that works and provides comfort for both of us.” -Katie, daughter and Real Talk attendee
