Through movement, fun, and great music, Maria Skinner will guide us through simple, chair-based exercises that focus on keeping both our bodies and brains agile, vibrant, and thriving. All you need is a stable chair to participate, and you\u2019ll be ready to start your journey to greater brain health.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: Friday, January 10, 2025 \u2013 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where<\/strong>: On Zoom via computer, tablet, or smartphone. Thank you for being part of the JF&amp;CS Memory Caf\u00e9 family, and we look forward to seeing you at our next virtual session!<\/p>\n<p>As the cooler weather sets in and we embrace the cozy comforts of winter, the JF&amp;CS Memory Caf\u00e9 community remains as connected as ever. While we look forward to resuming in-person gatherings in the spring, we\u2019re keeping the spirit of our Caf\u00e9 alive by hosting all of our events virtually via Zoom.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s an update on what&#8217;s happening in the meantime:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Thursday Caf\u00e9 Chats \u2013 On Hold Until Spring<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our monthly Caf\u00e9 Chats, which take place on Thursdays, will be taking a break after our December 19th session. These hour-long, informal chats have been a cherished part of our community, but will return in person come spring. In the meantime, we encourage you to take part in our other virtual offerings!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Friday Memory Caf\u00e9s \u2013 Continuing Virtually<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our beloved Friday Memory Caf\u00e9 meetings, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will continue monthly and are now held virtually on Zoom. These sessions include a guest facilitator, along with opportunities for sharing, connecting, and engaging in activities that promote mental wellness.<\/p>\n<h3>Recording Available and More Caf\u00e9s to Explore<\/h3>\n<p>Can&#8217;t make it to either Caf\u00e9? Don&#8217;t worry! We&#8217;ll have recordings of our Memory Caf\u00e9 sessions available, so you can catch up on the conversations at your convenience.
