to receive these benefits.\u00a0 Veterans and spouses who meet the following criteria are eligible to receive a VA pension:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be 65 years old or older<\/li>\n<li>Veterans must have served at least one day during a time of war<\/li>\n<li>Surviving spouses must have been married to the veteran at their time of death<\/li>\n<li>Married couples must have a combined monthly income of less than $3000, single veterans must have a monthly income under $2600, and surviving spouses must have a monthly income below $2000<\/li>\n<li>Retirement accounts for veterans must be worth less interdisciplinary panel including a registered nurse (RN), social worker (SW), and medical doctor (MD) before starting this program.<\/p>\n<p>Veterans must also meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant cognitive impairment<\/li>\n<li>Dependent on help for 3 or more activities of daily living (ADLs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>VA Respite Care<\/h2>\n<p>If senior veterans are cared for by a relative, they may only need part time care to relieve the family caregiver. \u00a0With our VA respite care, we can provide care at scheduled times to supplement the care the
