Assisting Hands\u00ae Home Care West Orange, Orlando is definitely a 5-star company. Martin, the owner of the Agency, is a very caring, compassionate, helpful and thoughtful person. He has the utmost respect, not only to his clients, but also to his employees.<\/p>\n

My husband, Richard, is not ambulatory. I have a Reliant 450 battery operated\/electric lift to facilitate his transfers from his bed to his chair and vice versa. Generally, clients\/patients\u2019 transfers are done by the manual\/hydraulic Hoyer lift. Martin took the time and initiative to familiarize himself with the mechanics of operating the Reliant transfer lift. On the first day of service by the Agency for my husband, Martin came along with the caregiver Rebecca, and together they were careful and successful in transferring husband from his bed to his chair, and with such precision and skill, as this was the first time for them in using the Reliant transfer lift.<\/p>\n

Richard\u2019s caregiver, Rebecca, demonstrated exemplary care and service in assisting him, with his needs for daily living. She always has a cheerful disposition, punctual, reliable, thoughtful and empathetic. Her attentiveness, experience, commitment and dedication in her caregiving for my husband is par excellence. She really deserves my special commendation for being such a valued employee and asset to your Agency. I take this opportunity to congratulate Rebecca for being Employee of the month.<\/p>\n

Two other caregivers that deserve mention are Berline and Teverly. Both of them are very reliable, kind, punctual, attentive and dedicated in their caregiving for Richard. Berline and Teverly are Christians, and they have on occasions prayed for the wellbeing\u2019s of Richard and me. Rebecca, Berline and Teverly have bonded well with Richard and I am so blessed to have them as his on-going caregivers.<\/p>\n

The Agency\u2019s staff are very competent and courteous. Telephone calls were answered or returned promptly. Shannen, in particular, is very accommodation, courteous and helpful in resolving difficult situations satisfactorily.<\/p>\n

Martin, you are a great guy\u2026 you never cease to amaze me with your genuine, caring, thoughtfulness, compassion, respect and kindness towards Richard and me. You have gone above and beyond your duty and professionalism in helping me navigate an urgent need and difficulty when Richard needed help and you have so graciously to his need in person.<\/p>\n

This was the only agency out of approximately eight that I called that said, “All of our caregivers are vaccinated.” After waiting weeks for one group to find someone who was vaccinated, and speaking to many others who all said they only had a few vaccinated caregivers and those were all working with other families, this was welcome news and all I needed to hear.
