\"\"After many years as a technology company executive in bayarea, I found myself searching for something more meaningful\u2014work that aligned with my values and gave deeper purpose to my life. What I discovered was not a new passion, but one that had been right in front of me all along. I come from a large family with more than 20 relatives over the age of 80. Caring for aging loved ones was not an occasional experience\u2014it became a meaningful part of my life. Over the years, I helped support several family members, and later my sister and mother during some of life’s most challenging moments.<\/p>\n

While those experiences were difficult, they also brought clarity. They showed me firsthand the difference that compassionate, reliable care can make for both seniors and their families. Once I realized where my passion truly lay, the transition into caregiving felt natural. The only question was who to partner with. That search led me to Assisting Hands Home Care, a family-led organization whose values closely mirror my own. We share a commitment to helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home while always putting care, compassion, and dignity before profit.<\/p>\n

Today, my mission is simple: to help families navigate the caregiving journey with confidence and peace of mind. My team and I strive every day to provide exceptional care, build lasting relationships, and be a trusted partner during important times. Looking back, I often ask myself, \u201cWhy didn\u2019t I do this sooner?\u201d As the saying goes, it\u2019s never too late to pursue what truly matters. \"\"Assisting Hands Home Care\u00ae\u00a0grew out of a desire to provide seniors, and others needing non-medical assistance at home, with the option that most people prefer \u2013 to remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes. Assisting Hands\u00ae\u00a0is a home care franchise company that emphasizes exceptional customer service and highly personalized in-home care to meet the needs of our clients.<\/p>\n

The founder of Assisting Hands Home Care\u00ae\u00a0is Dr. Gail Silverstein, who has more than 25 years of experience coordinating and leading health care programs in both the public and private sector. It was Gail\u2019s understanding of the health care industry, along with the personal experience of trying to find assistance for her father at home, that led her to realize there was a serious gap in services. Out of this need, Assisting Hands\u00ae\u00a0was launched \u2013 to provide a better alternative for the elderly, disabled and others needing a little extra support and assistance to stay home!<\/p>\n
