Assisting Hands, along with a number of other agencies, nonprofits, and pharmaceutical companies, sponsored the Parkinson’s E3 Conference at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center this past Saturday.

The event was a great success! We met people from all over Colorado who attended the conference to learn about the disease that afflicts them or their loved ones. The presentations highlighted a number of complementary treatments for Parkinson’s, from yoga and exercise to medications to Deep Brain Stimulation techniques. The Parkinson’s Foundation (Parkinson.org) and the Parkinson Association of the Rockies (parkinsonrockies.org) have done amazing work supporting people suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and gathering a group of caring people and organizations to provide additional help.
