The holidays can be a challenging time for all of us, but they often hit seniors especially hard. Some of our clients are facing their first holiday season without a loved one. Others may have family that can’t make it into town because of weather, like in the video below. Add in Seasonal Affective Disorder and you’ve got the recipe for misery, right when there is so much pressure to be cheerful.

Assisting Hands can help. Yes, our caregivers help our clients perform Personal Care tasks and do cleaning and cooking. But just as important is the companionship they offer.
