Last week, Assisting Hands partnered with Gateway Home Health to provide training at our office in Northglenn. Lisa and Regina from Gateway provided the training to members of Assisting Hands’ staff. Lisa is a Physical Therapist with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Senior Care industry. She shared best practices for health and well-being, techniques for dealing with stubborn clients, and some great personal anecdotes about her experiences. Assisting Hands and Gateway Home Health have worked together well in several clients’ homes, and we are thrilled to extend our partnership into the areas of training and staff development.

Many thanks to Gateway for kicking off our monthly training series! We plan on bringing together Assisting Hands caregivers with representatives from many of our partner organizations in 2023 and beyond. The April training will feature Assisting Hands owner Vanessa Sutton providing CPR practice with her family of CPR dummies.
