Assisting Hands is proud to share that Mike T. has celebrated his TWO YEAR anniversary with us!

Home Care can be a challenging industry for male caregivers.  The vast majority of clients ask for female caregivers because they don’t think they would be comfortable around a man.  Those few who give someone like Mike a chance never regret it!

Mike is incredibly skilled – he has seen and done so many different things with our clients.  He communicates well with families, who really come to see him as an extension of them.  I asked him why he continues to choose this field when he doesn’t get as many opportunities as he should.  He replied that he just loves helping people, whether they are disabled, elderly, or both.
