Last Saturday, Assisting Hands welcomed Joan Schunck as part of our monthly Lunch and Learn series. Joan is a grief counselor who was able to help us learn about “anticipatory grief” and many other topics that impact people who work in the Senior community. We had a good turnout with some of our newer caregivers participating for the first time. We all shared our experiences with grief and had a great conversation with Joan, who gave us some tips on how to cope in a healthy way.
