With the New Year in full swing, Assisting Hands is rolling out annual training to our caregivers. Every year, our employees must participate in our continuing education program to keep their skills sharp!

Here are some of the topics we will be covering:

• Infection control (it’s still flu season, let’s keep everyone healthy!)
• Client rights
• Understanding and reporting neglect, abuse, and exploitation
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Fire prevention and safety

As you can see, Assisting Hands training covers a wide variety of skills. Our caregivers are all professionals and keeping up to date with their training is a point of pride.
