We met people from all over Colorado who attended the conference to learn about the disease that afflicts them or their loved ones. The presentations highlighted a number of complementary treatments for Parkinson\u2019s, from yoga and exercise to medications to Deep Brain Stimulation techniques. The Parkinson\u2019s Foundation (Parkinson.org) and the Parkinson Association of the Rockies (parkinsonrockies.org) have done amazing work supporting people suffering from Parkinson\u2019s Disease and gathering a group of caring people and organizations to provide additional help.<\/p>\n<p>If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s, Assisting Hands can help with personal care, housekeeping, transportation, and so much more.
