The holidays can be a challenging time for all of us, but they often hit seniors especially hard. Some of our clients are facing their first holiday season without a loved one. Others may have family that can\u2019t make it into town because of weather, like in the video below. Add in Seasonal Affective Disorder<\/a> and you\u2019ve got the recipe for misery, right when there is so much pressure to be cheerful.<\/p>\n

Assisting Hands can help. Yes, our caregivers help our clients perform Personal Care tasks and do cleaning and cooking. But just as important is the companionship they offer. At Assisting Hands, we take great care to find a good match for each client\u2019s personality and then keep that person coming back regularly.
