Today was the 2026 Colorado Ride to End ALZ!\u00a0 Hundreds of participants rode on 4 different courses and raised over $680,000 (as of this morning), 100% of which will be going to research into Alzheimer’s and dementia.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At Assisting Hands, we have been honored to help care for so many clients living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia.\u00a0 These diseases affect not just our clients, but their whole families.\u00a0 Assisting Hands can help relieve some of the burden and stress.\u00a0 Our mission is always to help our clients achieve their maximum potential for independence, no matter what diagnosis or conditions they may be struggling with.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I rode today with two bandannas \u2013 the purple one for family and clients that I have lost to Alzheimer\u2019s and dementia, and the yellow one to signify that I (along with our hard working, big-hearted caregivers) help care for someone (or many someones!) with dementia.<\/p>\n
