Providing care in the Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lakewood and surrounding areas<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Primary Duties:
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \n
  1. Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within client\u2019s residence. Duties may include light cleaning and straightening of the bathroom, straightening the sleeping and living areas, washing client’s dishes or laundry, and other tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety for the client.<\/li>\n
  2. The performance of all personal care activities contained in a written Plan of Care which may include assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, dressing, shaving and other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n
  3. Reporting changes in the client\u2019s condition.<\/li>\n
  4. Medication reminders – Preparing necessary items such as juice, water, cups, or spoons to assist the client in the self-administration of medication.<\/li>\n
  5. Abides by the agency\u2019s infection control policies, including proper hand washing techniques consistent with CDC Guidelines.<\/li>\n
  6. Abides by all policies and procedures outlined in the agency\u2019s Policy and Procedure Manual, Caregiver Handbook, and Caregiver Training Manual.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Hours:<\/strong>\u00a0 We understand how difficult it can be to find a job that has work-life balance.\u00a0 We do our best to provide schedules that works for you and our wonderful clients.\u00a0 We build our schedules around our client’s specific needs and care plan.\u00a0 We provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year.\u00a0 Being an In-Home Care Agency, Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Education:<\/strong>\u00a0High School Diploma\/GED required<\/p>\n

    Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred<\/li>\n
    • At least 18 ears of age<\/li>\n
    • Eligible to work in the US<\/li>\n
    • Possess good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n
    • Fluent in English<\/li>\n
    • Has a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and reliable vehicle to drive<\/li>\n
