Our trained caregivers provide the elderly, disabled, and ill of all ages assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Some of these ADLs consist of fall prevention care, medication reminders, incontenance care, physical therapy exercises, meal prepping, light housekeeping, hospital discharges, Alzheimer/dementia care, hospice support, companionship, and much more.
Caregiver Licensing and Qualifications

Our caregivers all have the Home Care Aide (HCA) license through the California Department of Social Services (CDSS).

Our caregivers successfully pass extensive background checks through the CDSS Guardian system.

Our caregivers are fully insured and bonded through the agency as a W2 employee.

Our caregivers are trained and certified in CPR and First Aid.

Our caregivers are tuberculosis (TB) test cleared.

Our caregivers are Covid vaccinated and boosted.

Our caregivers come with extensive experience with the elderly and special needs.

Our caregivers additionally undergo extensive online and on-the-job training every year.
Furthermore, Assisting Hands® will select the best match from our pre-screened group of available caregivers and can generally have a qualified caregiver placed in your home within 48 hours or less from the initial call.
Also, training for our caregivers is ongoing yearly and we ensure that training completion needs are met in compliance with CDSS guidelines.
As such, our services support the individual’s needs and preferences in order to maintain their dignity and independence.
