Assisting Hands Nears 100th Home Health Franchise Sales Milestone

NAMPA, Idaho (November 30, 2015) — Assisting Hands Home Care is nearing its 100th home health franchise opening, with new and expanding franchisees as well a new area representative.

Dean Johnson is Assisting Hands’ first area representative in several years.  Johnson purchased rights to franchise territory in Maryland and Virginia.  Assisting Hands Home Care’s newest franchisee, June Choi, purchased rights to a franchise territory in Southern California.

Existing franchisees are also expanding. In September 2014, Steve and Cathy Lorberbaum opened their first location in Montgomery County, Maryland. About six months later, the Lorberbaums purchased two more locations.

“We are expanding to cover all of Montgomery County as a natural extension of our existing presence,” said Steve Lorberbaum, owner of Assisting Hands Home Care Potomac. “We believe the Assisting Hands way of reducing stress on families by being there when they cannot, and our commitment to a high level of care and responsiveness set us apart from other home care providers.”

Assisting Hands President and CEO Lane Kofoed said the company attributes the most recent signs of company growth to the quality of his staff and franchisees, as well as the relationship the company develops with its home health franchisees.

“Our sales representative is connecting with quality potential franchisees, and her work continues to result in new members to the Assisting Hands family,” said Kofoed. “With as many as 10,000 baby boomers turning 65 years old every day in America, we believe the demand for quality in-home care services like ours will continue to grow rapidly.”
