WASHINGTON, (September 16, 2016) – Assisting Hands Home Care today announced that Naples, Florida franchise owners, Robb Winiecki and Tricia Winiecki, are Assisting Hands’ 2016 Franchisee of the Year.

The Winieckis credit their initial success to Assisting Hands’ regional concept model.   In 2008 they signed their franchise agreement but had to wait nearly a year to get accredited and licensed.  During that time, they worked at Assisting Hands’ Ft. Myers, Florida office with area representative Robert Thomas. They opened the Naples office in July 2009, and today they carry a staff of 100 caregivers who have helped nearly 1,000 client families in Collier County.

“The combination of Tricia’s HR skills and Robb’s customer service acumen are the keys to their success,” said Lane Kofoed, CEO of Assisting Hands Home Care’s national office.  “They run their business with the highest standards, and for that they deserve this award.”

From answering the phone professionally, speaking intelligently and being knowledgeable about home healthcare, the Winieckis say they continually “mine gems” when it comes to hiring.  The competition is stiff for home healthcare providers in Collier County, Florida, which includes Naples, with more than 26 percent of the population aged 65 or older, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

“Our revenue grew nearly 50 percent in the first two years,” said Robb Winiecki, co-owner of Assisting Hands Home Care Naples.  “But in 2013, when Tricia left her respiratory therapist position for full-time here, that’s when our business really took off.”  For the next two years, revenues increased 60 percent.  In 2015, revenues continued to grow at more than 20 percent.

Assisting Hands’ national office selected the Assisting Hands Home Care Naples as the 2016 Franchisee of the Year.  The Winieckis were honored with the award during the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Franchise Action Network Annual Meeting in Washington this week. Also, the national office has consistently recognized Assisting Hands Naples as a “Top Producer for Outstanding Business Operations and Growth.”
