She is an adjunct professor at Harper College where she teaches English as a second language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI saw a need for quality in-home healthcare,\u201d said Salario. \u201cI cared for my elderly father and stepmom, and I saw the difference between senior care facilities and in-home caregiving.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Salario looked at other in-home care franchises, but she did not find the level of compassion nor strong corporate structure that she found in Assisting Hands Home Care. \u201cIt&#8217;s evident that Assisting Hands&#8217; owners are in business for the right reasons,\u201d she added. \u201cAs franchisees, we\u2019re encouraged to have our own personal touch.
