Company executives expect the growth to continue. According to the Administration on Aging, there will be about 98 million older persons in 2060, nearly twice the number of senior citizens today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAlmost a year ago we opened our 80th franchise,\u201d said Lane Kofoed, president and CEO of Assisting Hands Home Care. \u201cNow, after a decade of franchising, we are delighted to be celebrating our 100th franchise sale.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Kofoed was named president and CEO of Assisting Hands Home Care in 2011. Since that time, 66 franchises have been sold, and the company has been profitable every year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Kofoed said Assisting Hands\u2019 extended business model appeals to entrepreneurs with both medical and non-medical backgrounds. Recent franchisees who have contributed to the growth have been educators, ambassadors and Fortune 500 executives with a head for business and a heart for helping others. Kofoed believes the company\u2019s growth bodes well for the state of franchising in general.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Morris was drawn to Assisting Hands Home Care because her 96-year-old grandmother needed in-home care.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>She wanted a business that would help people like her grandmother, and she wanted to make a difference in her community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAfter doing my due diligence and looking into other franchises, I knew that Assisting Hands is where I wanted to be,\u201d said Morris. \u201cI believe I can reach the personal and financial goals I have set for myself with Assisting Hands\u2019 training and support.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Richard Ueberfluss facilitated the agreement with Morris as the Chicagoland area representative.
