Introducing Our Honoree Lindsay Who Gives Compassionate Senior Care
Here at Assisting Hands Rockford, we always say you must be born a caregiver, so we have selected Lindsay to be our June Caregiver of the month because she embodies what this truly means. Offering compassionate senior care, Lindsay is selfless, always putting her client and co-workers first. She is always willing to pick up extra shifts, and offers to help other caregivers out with their shifts, so she takes the initiative to help train other caregivers and has impeccable communication with the team and management.
With Lindsay’s help, we were able to closely monitor a client by offering compassionate senior care to ensure they didn’t get a UTI. This means she was very in tune with the client’s health throughout the day so we could communicate all our observations to the hospice team, as well as the family. This communication allowed us to get RNs out there in a timely fashion. In this line of work, it is critical that we be the eyes and ears of the medical professionals because we are responsible for our client’s care throughout the day. We pride ourselves on having a ‘best in class’ bedside manner, gentle care, and communication with the family and healthcare professionals. Lindsay exhibits all the skills required to be an exceptional caregiver and we are very grateful for her service. We appreciate what she does each and every day. Keep up the great work Lindsay!
About Lindsay
Lindsay is well organized, reliable, punctual, and a considerate person who loves to provide compassionate senior care. She is also an animal lover! That must be where she gets her patience from because she has 4 Pitbull mixes of her own and she also boards other dogs. Our June Caregiver of the Month has such a big heart because she will take in any animals as long as there’s enough room. She just loves everything about animals and has an obsession with owls. She loves watching owl videos, collecting owl figurines and loves hooting owls at night. What’s not to love about our caregiver Lindsay!
