In a heartwarming event, Assisting Hands Rockford’s honors Vietnam Veterans at Don Carter Lanes in Rockford. The company played a pivotal role in honoring Vietnam Veterans alongside the Vietnam Veterans of America.  The event was held to commemorate National Vietnam Veterans Day and took place on Friday, March 29. It aimed to provide a space where veterans could gather, socialize, and enjoy complimentary bowling and lunch.

The event was led by Janine Idstein, the Director of Business Development for Assisting Hands Home Care. She emphasized the importance of recognizing and appreciating the sacrifices made by these veterans. She also highlighted that many Vietnam Veterans did not receive the warm welcome and appreciation they deserved upon returning home. This making it crucial to continue showing gratitude for their service.

“It’s essential that we let them know that we appreciate their service and give them the recognition they deserve,” mentioned Janine Idstein.
