Assisting Hands Home Care was born out of a shared understanding of the reality and impact that home care services have on our own family members. Tyler, Tanner, and Marissa recognized the need for compassionate and reliable care for seniors in our community. They witnessed the positive difference that quality home care made in their loved ones’ lives and were inspired to create a business that could make a meaningful impact.

Driven by their passion for improving the lives of seniors and their families, the three co-owners embarked on a mission to provide personalized and compassionate care. Their diverse backgrounds in project engineering, residential building, and critical care nursing have shaped their approach to caregiving, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach to meeting the unique needs of each client.

With a background as a project engineer, Tyler Wilcox brings his expertise in managing complex tasks and attention to detail to Assisting Hands Home Care. Tyler’s journey in establishing this business was fueled by the realization of the impact that home care services had on his own grandparents. As a twin, Tyler always dreamt of working with his brother, Tanner, to create their own business, and the need for quality senior care services solidified their passion. Inspired by the compassionate work of caregivers, Tyler obtained his CNA license to gain a deeper understanding of the proper care and skills required to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Marissa Wilcox, married to Tyler, is a co-owner and an experienced Pediatric ICU nurse with five years of service. Having witnessed firsthand the profound impact that compassionate care can have on patients and their families, Marissa was motivated to extend her expertise to seniors in need. Observing the needs of their own family members and seizing the opportunity to provide exceptional caregiving services, Marissa joined Tyler and Tanner in establishing Assisting Hands Home Care. Her background in critical care nursing equips her with valuable skills in assessing medical conditions and coordinating care plans for our clients.

Tanner Wilcox, also a co-owner at Assisting Hands Home Care, brings a wealth of experience from his background in residential construction. Recognizing the importance of providing compassionate care for seniors, Tanner joined forces with Tyler to make a positive impact in our community. He also, obtained his CNA license to further his understanding of the industry and ensure that our clients receive the highest level of care.
Tanner’s dedication, combined with his construction background, allows him to assess home environments for potential safety hazards and recommend modifications to enhance our clients’ well-being.
